This guide shows you how to use tasks in mit.available.dk.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to mit.available.dk
- You must have the
tenant:tasks:viewpermission to see tasks - You must have the
tenant:tasks:managepermission to create or update tasks
Access tasks
- Log in to mit.available.dk
- Click "Opgaver" in the navigation menu
You can also go directly to /tasks.
See existing tasks
On the tasks page, you can see all tasks with:
- Title - The name of the task
- Status - The status of the task
- Linked to - What the task is linked to (e.g. prepaid hours, service agreement)
- Assigned to - Who the task is assigned to
- Deadline - When the task is to be completed
Filter tasks
On the tasks page, you can filter tasks by:
- All - Show all tasks
- Prepaid hours - Show only tasks linked to prepaid hours
- Service agreements - Show only tasks linked to service agreements
- Search - Use the search field to find specific tasks
See tasks in Kanban view
- Click the "Kanban" view (if available)
- Tasks are shown in columns based on their status
- You can see tasks flow through different stages
The columns can be:
- New - New tasks
- In progress - Tasks being worked on
- Waiting - Tasks awaiting something
- Done - Completed tasks
See tasks in list view
- Click the "Liste" view (if available)
- Tasks are shown in a list with all the details
- You can sort the list by various criteria
See task details
- Find the task in the list or the Kanban view
- Click the task
- A modal or page opens with detailed information about the task
You can see:
- Description - A detailed description of the task
- Status - The current status
- Linked to - What the task is linked to
- Assigned to - Who the task is assigned to
- Deadline - When the task is to be completed
- Comments - Any comments
Update task status
If you have permission to update tasks:
- Find the task in the list or the Kanban view
- Click the task
- Select a new status from the dropdown menu
- Click "Opdater" or "Gem"
The task's status is updated and shown immediately.
Create a new task
If you have permission to create tasks:
- Click the "Ny opgave" or "Opret opgave" button
- Fill in the form:
- Title - The name of the task (required)
- Description - A description of the task
- Linked to - Select what the task is to be linked to (prepaid hours, service agreement, etc.)
- Status - Select the initial status
- Click "Opret opgave"
The task is created and shown in the list.
Approve a task
Some tasks require approval:
- Find the task in the list
- Click the "Godkend" button
- Confirm the approval
The task is approved and the status is updated.
Troubleshooting
Cannot see the tasks page
If you cannot see the tasks page:

Check your permissions - You must have the
tenant:tasks:viewpermission - Contact your administrator - Your role may need to be updated
Cannot create tasks
If you cannot create tasks:

Check your permissions - You must have the
tenant:tasks:managepermission - Check that all required fields are filled in - The title is required
- Contact support - If the problem persists
Cannot update task status
If you cannot update the task status:

Check your permissions - You must have the
tenant:tasks:managepermission - Check that the task is not locked - Some tasks may be locked
- Contact support - If the problem persists
