This guide shows you how to buy and use prepaid hours in mit.available.dk.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to mit.available.dk
- You must have the
tenant:clip_cards:viewpermission to view prepaid hours - You must have the
tenant:clip_cards:managepermission to buy prepaid hours - Your department must have a payment method configured
Accessing prepaid hours
- Log in to mit.available.dk
- Click "Products" in the navigation menu
- Select "Support" from the dropdown menu
- Click "Prepaid hours"
You can also go directly to /clip-cards.
Viewing existing prepaid hours
On the prepaid hours page, you can see all your prepaid hours with:
- Status - The status of the prepaid hours (active, used or expired)
- Department - Which department the prepaid hours are linked to
- Hours purchased - How many hours were purchased
- Hours used - How many hours have been used
- Hours remaining - How many hours are remaining
- Expiry date - When the prepaid hours expire
Buying new prepaid hours
- Click the "Buy prepaid hours" button (if you have permission)
- Choose which department the prepaid hours should be linked to
- Choose the number of hours (minimum 10 hours)
- See the price - a discount is given for larger purchases:
- 10-24 hours: 5% discount
- 25-49 hours: 10% discount
- 50-99 hours: 15% discount
- 100-149 hours: 18% discount
- 150+ hours: 20% discount
- Accept the terms
- Click "Buy prepaid hours"
Important: Your department must have a payment method configured before you can buy prepaid hours.
Extending an existing prepaid hours
If you have an active prepaid hours, you can extend it:
- Find the prepaid hours in the list
- Click the "Extend" button
- Choose the number of hours you want to add
- See the price with the discount
- Accept the terms
- Click "Extend prepaid hours"
The hours are added to your existing prepaid hours.
Viewing prepaid hours details
- Find the prepaid hours in the list
- Click the prepaid hours or the "View details" button
- A modal opens with detailed information about the prepaid hours
You can see:
- Purchase date - When the prepaid hours was purchased
- Expiry date - When the prepaid hours expire
- Hours history - When hours have been used
- Related tasks - Tasks linked to the prepaid hours
Filtering prepaid hours
On the prepaid hours page, you can filter by:
- All - Show all prepaid hours
- Active - Show only active prepaid hours
- Used - Show only used prepaid hours
Understanding prepaid hours status
Prepaid hours can have the following statuses:
- Active - The prepaid hours is active and can be used
- Used - All hours on the prepaid hours have been used
- Expired - The prepaid hours has expired
Monitoring hours used
On the prepaid hours page, you can see:
- Hours used - How many hours have been used
- Hours remaining - How many hours are remaining
- Percentage used - How large a portion of the prepaid hours has been used
This helps you plan the use of your prepaid hours.
Troubleshooting
Cannot see the prepaid hours page
If you cannot see the prepaid hours page:

Check your permissions - You must have the
tenant:clip_cards:viewpermission - Contact your administrator - Your role may need to be updated
Cannot buy prepaid hours
If you cannot buy prepaid hours:

Check your permissions - You must have the
tenant:clip_cards:managepermission - Check that there is a department - You must have at least one department
- Check the payment method - The department must have a payment method configured
- Contact support - If the problem persists
Payment fails
If the payment fails:
- Check the payment method - Make sure the payment method is valid
- Check that there are funds in the account - If you are using a credit card
- Contact support - If the problem persists
The prepaid hours does not show the correct hours used
If the hours used are not shown correctly:
- Reload the page - Use F5 or Cmd+R / Ctrl+R
- Check the activities - See whether activities are registered correctly
- Contact support - If the problem persists
