This guide shows you how to update your login details and profile information in mit.available.dk.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to mit.available.dk
- You must know your current password in order to change it
Access the profile page
- Log in to mit.available.dk
- Click "Organisation" in the navigation menu
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Click "Login details"
You can also go directly to /profile.
View your profile information
On the profile page, you can see:
- Name - Your full name
- Email - Your email address (used for login)
- Role - Your role in the organisation
- Department - Which department you belong to
Change your password
- Scroll down to the "Change password" section
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Confirm your new password by entering it again
- Click "Update password"
Your password is now updated. You will need to log in again with your new password.
Password requirements
Your new password must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters - The password must be at least 8 characters long
- Strong password - It is recommended to use a combination of letters, numbers and special characters
Update your name
If you need to update your name:
- Contact your organisation's administrator
- The administrator can update your name in the system
Your name normally cannot be changed directly from the profile page, as it is managed centrally.
Update your email
If you need to update your email address:
- Contact your organisation's administrator
- The administrator can update your email address in the system
Your email address normally cannot be changed directly from the profile page, as it is used for login and must be unique.
Error handling
Cannot change password
If you cannot change your password:
- Check that the current password is correct - You must enter the correct current password
- Check that the new password meets the requirements - Minimum 8 characters
- Check that the two new passwords match - The confirmation password must be identical
- Try reloading the page - Use F5 or Cmd+R / Ctrl+R
Forgotten your password
If you have forgotten your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click the "Forgot password?" link
- Enter your email address
- Follow the instructions in the email you receive

The profile page does not display correctly
If the profile page does not display correctly:
- Check your internet connection - Make sure you have a stable connection
- Try reloading the page - Use F5 or Cmd+R / Ctrl+R
- Log out and log in again - This can resolve session problems
Security tips
- Use a strong password - Combine letters, numbers and special characters
- Change your password regularly - It is recommended to change your password every 3-6 months
- Never share your password - Your password is personal and must be kept secret
- Log out when you are finished - Especially if you are using a shared computer

- Back to the dashboard - Click "Dashboard" in the navigation menu
