How to find materials

This guide shows you how to find and order learning materials in mit.available.dk.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged in to mit.available.dk
  • You must have the tenant:learning:view permission to view materials
  • You must have the tenant:learning_enrollments:create permission to order materials

Accessing materials

  1. Log in to mit.available.dk
  2. Click "Learning" in the navigation menu
  3. Select "Learn" from the dropdown menu
  4. Click "Materials"

You can also go directly to /learning/materials.

Viewing available materials

On the materials page you can see all available materials with:

  • Title - The name of the material
  • Description - What the material contains
  • Type - Which type of material (e.g. book, guide, etc.)
  • Price - The price of the material
  • Availability - Whether the material is in stock

Filtering materials by type

  1. Click a type button at the top of the page
  2. The list of materials updates automatically
  3. Click "All" to see all materials again

Types can be:

  • All - Show all materials
  • Specific types - E.g. "Books", "Guides", "Templates", etc.

Viewing material details

  1. Find the material in the list
  2. Click the material or the "View details" button
  3. A modal opens with detailed information about the material

You can see:

  • Description - A detailed description of the material
  • Type - Which type of material
  • Price - The price of the material
  • Availability - Whether the material is in stock

Adding a material to the basket

  1. Find the material in the list
  2. Click the "Add to basket" button
  3. Select a quantity (if relevant)
  4. The material is added to your basket

You can add several materials to the basket before you order.

Viewing your basket

  1. Click the basket icon or the "View basket" button
  2. See all the materials in your basket
  3. Update the quantity or remove materials if necessary

Ordering materials

  1. Go to your basket
  2. Check that all the materials are correct
  3. Select a billing department
  4. Select a delivery department (which can be different from the billing department)
  5. Enter a billing email
  6. Add notes if necessary
  7. Click "Order" or "Complete order"

You will receive a confirmation of your order.

Understanding prices

Prices for materials include:

  • Material price - The price of the material itself
  • Shipping and handling - A fixed shipping fee (if relevant)
  • VAT - VAT (25%) is added to the total amount

The total amount is shown before you order.

Error handling

Cannot see the materials page

If you cannot see the materials page:

  • Check your permissions - You must have the tenant:learning:view permission
  • Contact your administrator - Your role may need to be updated

Cannot order materials

If you cannot order materials:

  • Check your permissions - You must have the tenant:learning_enrollments:create permission
  • Check that there are departments - You must have at least one department
  • Check that the basket is not empty - You must have at least one material in the basket
  • Contact support - If the problem persists

The order fails

If the order fails:

  • Check that all fields are filled in - All required fields must have values
  • Check the email format - The billing email must be a valid email address
  • Try again - Reload the page and try again
  • Contact support - If the problem persists

  • View e-learning - Go to Learning > E-learning
  • Attend courses - Go to Learning > Attend > Courses
  • Attend events - Go to Learning > Attend > Events
  • View payments - Go to Organisation > Finance > Payments
