This ensures that Norlys Ace always runs, while Chrome still saves power on other unimportant tabs.
- Click the three dots at the top right → Settings.
- Select Performance in the menu on the left.
- Find the Always keep these sites active section.
- Click Add.
- Enter the web address (e.g. zendesk.com) and click Add.
Option B: Turn it off completely
If you want to be 100% sure that Chrome never interferes with your tabs.
- Go to Settings → Performance.
- Set the Memory Saver toggle to Off.

- Select System and performance on the left.

Which should you choose?
| Strategy | Advantages | Disadvantages |
|---|---|---|
| Exceptions (recommended) | Norlys Ace never logs out, but the computer stays fast. | You have to manually add new important sites. |
| Turn off completely | You never have to think about frozen tabs again. | The browser can use a lot of RAM, which can make the PC slow. |
Note: If the settings are greyed out and locked, they are probably controlled by your IT department's Group Policy. Contact IT support to have the Norlys domain whitelisted centrally.
